A shore house palette that is not all white

White walls are a fine start at the shore. They are a dull finish if every textile matches them. Keep the walls light, then bring in sand upholstery, a deep teal or rust chair, and wood that is not orange.
Salt air and sandy feet are real. Choose performance fabric on the sofa and save the delicate weave for a chair nobody sits in with wet hair.
